"Royal pain".

Absolutely unbelievable, rare and bizarre private-press Christian LP. Not only is the front cover a hideous assault on the visual senses, but the back tells us this is a first-name-only band, complete with two "Steves", one of whom plays fuzz guitar (no kidding!). Plus something called the "Cleveland, Texas Kazoo Ensemble". Hmmmmm.... And the music includes "Front Seat, Back Seat" (strange dorky up-tempo mover with unedited conversation for the intro, doofy Jew's harp twanging underneath and a wacky kazoo chorus); "Redemption Draweth Nigh" (another snappy little up-tempo tune, but this one is surreal - loaded with heavy fuzz, ending with a brief quasi-psych solo!); and the piece-de resistance, "Headin' Home" (down-tempo blues with some four-part Gospel harmony blended with a HEAVY FUZZ PSYCH-BLUES SOLO! Yeah, baby! WEIRDER THAN FREAKIN' WEIRD!
