Ramona (Wait A Little Longer Please Jesus)

Another total head-shaker. "Cherokee Princess"?? Uh huh. I don't know if she's for real, but this LP reminds me of one by another alleged Native American "princess" - the notorious and controversial Princess Pale Moon, who apparently has no verifiable Native ancestry.

Anyway, real "Cherokee Princess" or not, the cover's hysterical. The music is country-Gospel. I haven't had the guts to listen to it all the way through, but Ramona is known for her yodeling, and she even has an LP of "yodeling praises"!!! I’ll let some other brave soul hear if she goes in that direction on this LP...
