Hargis, Billy James (An Eveneing With Billy James Hargis And His Kids)

WOW! What a way to spend an evening. Of course, the irony of this 1971 LP only became apparent a few years later, as Dr. Billy was convicted of multiple counts of child molestation. Here, we have songs of patriotism and God's (ahem) "love", by Billy and the kids. Liner notes say young students at his schools and retreats get "instruction, motivation and inspiration" regarding the "twin threats of Godless communism and aposate religious liberalism". I guess ol' Billy James should have added himself as threat number three. Oh, and he sucks as a singer. Classic hypocrisy and undeniable collector's item!
