This one's as truly heartwarming as it is strange! Rare and remarkable private country-Gospel by 11 year old with a disability. Backed by professional rhythm band.

Born with no arms, hand attached at his shoulders and facial disfigurement, this inspired young man started taking private singing lessons at age 10 and cut this record a year later. I can't say this music is "good" in the traditional sense (though he's certainly above-average for an 11 year-old and obviously has some talent), and the results are sometimes quite weird. But it has something even better - the refreshing quality of someone trying his hardest, overcoming obstacles, doing something he really loves, with honest purpose. In my book, that beats 99% of the stuff you hear on the radio (especially these days).

An outsider/real people cult classic!
