Hamel, Shorty & The Souls Harbour Singers (Destination: The Golden Streets Of Home)
"Blue Angels?"
OK, I know there's a big thing among southern Christians using airplanes as metaphors for going to Heaven, but this is a little ridiculous. First off, no way St. Peter lets them in looking like that - Heaven has to have a dress code (and if there's a hair code, they're damned...). And hey, look at the creativity - a luggage tag with "Destination: Golden Streets Of Home" on it. But the writing makes it look like "Golden Sheets". Not sure exactly what the golden sheets are, but I recall seeing them when my kids were infants -- but that had less to do with Heaven and more to do with leaky diapers... And oh yeah, nice touch using TWA - "Trans-World Airlines". Get it? Like going to Heaven is going ot another world? Hahahahahaha!!! (Note to TWA execs - probably not a good idea to have your airline associated with a plane load of dead people). Oh yeah, I can hear the ad campaign now: "TWA, the preferred carrier for especially long flights. And we have the best crash safety standards in the business - not that it matters under the circumstances... TWA: when you positively, absolutely have an eternity to get there... In shrink.
